Meet Our Grads
Pattonair Strategic Procurement Graduate Harry shares his experiences of working at Pattonair.
By studying to become Chartered in Procurement and Supply (CIPS), I am able to share the knowledge I have gained with my wider team. Understanding the ethics and theory behind the role means that I am able to think about things differently. Effective procurement is about more than just cost savings – it's an opportunity to make a real impact across the supply chain.

“I have travelled all across the globe from Spain to California. The sense of a fresh challenge and knowing that every day is going to be different is what gets me out of bed in the morning. The uniqueness of our products and the aerospace industry make Pattonair such an interesting and exciting place to work.
My Graduate programme involved a three month placement in the US, which was an amazing experience as I developed a new perspective on different ways of working, as well as bringing my own expertise to the site I was joining. During this time, I also had the opportunity to spend a week in California auditing suppliers on their Pattonair Gold journey. My current role as a Commodity Lead provides a truly global reach, with responsibility for contractual and commercial relationships across our entire supply network.
As part of my Graduate role, I have been studying to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. My CIPS should have taken three years to complete, but I put my case forward to Pattonair and they were really supportive about me fast-tracking. I now take half a day off a week to self-study as this approach is more flexible around my work and allows me to move at my own pace."
