Leading Derby company Pattonair joined players and supporters of Derbyshire County Cricket Club at a special evening celebrating a successful 2019 season.
The event saw the prestigious overall Player of the Year award going to Ravi Rampaul, following a string of inspiring performances over the course of the season.
The annual occasion, held at The Pattonair County Ground, brings together players, sponsors and fans to reflect on the year’s events, as well as recognise the efforts of the team across a variety of award categories.
Handing out the Player of the Year award, Pattonair’s group innovation director Jason Rance said: “This was a truly special evening that marks a highly successful season for Derbyshire and everyone involved at the club.
“As a Derbyshire-based firm, we’re really proud to be supporting the region’s achievements and look forward to helping the cricket club’s cause over the next few years.”
The Player of the Year Gala Dinner, held on Friday 27 September, is one of several events the Pride Park View-based firm supports over the course of the year.
Pattonair undertakes a number of community initiatives in Derbyshire and holds the naming rights for the cricket ground, which is off Nottingham Road.
Derbyshire CCC media and marketing manager Tom Skinner said: “Everyone involved with the club is thrilled with the season we have had.
“It’s been capped off really by reaching our first T20 Finals Day in the competition’s 17-year history.
“Of course, all of this has been made possible by the incredible commitment and dedication shown by our players, coaching staff, sponsors and, of course, our simply brilliant fan base.”
