Umeco Supply Chain, a Umeco company and a leading provider of outsourced logistics services to the aerospace industry has today announced the following changes to its management team.
Andrew Ferguson joins Umeco Supply Chain on the 3rd September 2007 as Financial Director. Andrew brings a wealth of experience from GE Aviation (formally Smiths Aerospace). He has also held senior roles with Orange and Wincanton Logistics. Jason Crabtree, CEO Umeco Supply Chain says "Andrew joins the company at a very exciting time. We are continuing to expand our capability offering and our geographic footprint. This, together with the anticipated revenue growth will inevitably present challenges. Andrew's wealth of relevant experience will be invaluable throughout this dynamic period. I am delighted to have secured his services. This is another indication of our determination to recruit highly talented individuals who can join and strengthen our executive team".
In China, Umeco Supply Chain is also pleased to announce that Polly Wu has been appointed to the position of General Manager, Pattonair China. Polly will have full responsibility for developing their growing business in Xi'an and establishing relationships across China with new customers in what is the fastest growing aerospace market in the world. Polly was previously the China Sales Director for Bombardier Aerospace Regional Aircraft. Polly is Chinese by birth and Australian by citizenship and is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
Bruce Zheng, Pattonair China Consultant will continue to provide valuable local and customer support in China as well as being the Deputy Director of the China Aviation Industrial Base.
